Frequently Asked Questions

What DPI should I use for printing?
300 DPI is standard for quality printing. 150 for drafts, 600 for fine art. 72 for screens only. Need to convert to PDF for print? Use the Image to PDF tool afterward.
Does changing DPI change the image size?
No — DPI only changes print metadata. Pixel count stays the same. To actually increase pixel count, use the Resize tool for dimension adjustments.
How do I calculate print size?
Print size (inches) = Pixels ÷ DPI. A 3000×2000 image at 300 DPI prints at 10×6.67 inches. Not enough pixels? Use Resize to adjust dimensions, then set DPI here.
